Our Process
At Zorba Baits, we’re not a mass-production factory; we’re craftsmen obsessed with quality. Every lure is handmade, which means it takes time to shape, pour, assemble, and finish each one properly.
Because of this, we release our baits in two ways: limited drops and open preorders.
The excitement and demand for our baits are real, and they tend to sell out fast. To make sure you’re always ready, we follow a simple process:
1. The Heads-Up
About a week before a drop, we send out an exclusive email to our newsletter subscribers. This message is your VIP pass to all the details: the exact date and time of the drop, as well as a sneak peek at all the lures that will be available. Make sure to join the newsletter to get in the loop!
2. Drop Day
This is it. The moment our new lures go live on the site. Since our drops are highly anticipated, the baits usually sell out fast. We recommend being ready to go at the exact time to secure your favorites.
3. Packing & Shipping
Once a drop is complete, we get straight to work packing every order with the care it deserves. Because of the sheer volume of orders, it may take us a few extra days to get everything shipped out, but we promise they’ll be worth the wait.
From time to time, we also open preorders.
During a preorder window (usually a few days), you can place an order for any available bait. Once the preorder closes, we begin production.
Because every bait is handmade, production typically takes about 3–4 weeks, followed by a few additional days for packing and shipping.
Preorders allow you to secure the exact baits you want without worrying about them selling out during a drop — you just need to be patient while we craft them.
